بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

سَأَلَ سَآئِلٌۢ بِعَذَابٍ وَاقِعٍ١
الإنجليزيةA supplicant asked for a punishment bound to happen
الألمانيةEs fragt ein Fragesteller nach einer Strafe, die hereinbrechen wird
70:1لِّلْكَٰفِرِينَ لَيْسَ لَهُۥ دَافِعٌ٢
الإنجليزيةTo the disbelievers; of it there is no preventer.
الألمانيةfür die Ungläubigen, (einer Strafe,) die niemand abwehren kann;
70:2مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ ذِى ٱلْمَعَارِجِ٣
الإنجليزية[It is] from Allah, owner of the ways of ascent.
الألمانيةvon Allah, dem Besitzer der Aufstiegswege.
70:3تَعْرُجُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ إِلَيْهِ فِى يَوْمٍ كَانَ مِقْدَارُهُۥ خَمْسِينَ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ٤
الإنجليزيةThe angels and the Spirit will ascend to Him during a Day the extent of which is fifty thousand years.
الألمانيةEs steigen die Engel und der Geist zu Ihm auf an einem Tag, dessen (Aus)maß fünfzigtausend Jahre ist.
70:4فَٱصْبِرْ صَبْرًا جَمِيلًا٥
الإنجليزيةSo be patient with gracious patience.
الألمانيةDarum sei standhaft in schöner Geduld.
70:5إِنَّهُمْ يَرَوْنَهُۥ بَعِيدًا٦
الإنجليزيةIndeed, they see it [as] distant,
الألمانيةGewiß, sie sehen sie weit entfernt,
70:6وَنَرَىٰهُ قَرِيبًا٧
الإنجليزيةBut We see it [as] near.
الألمانيةWir aber sehen sie nahe.
70:7يَوْمَ تَكُونُ ٱلسَّمَآءُ كَٱلْمُهْلِ٨
الإنجليزيةOn the Day the sky will be like murky oil,
الألمانيةAm Tag, da der Himmel wie siedendes Öl
70:8وَتَكُونُ ٱلْجِبَالُ كَٱلْعِهْنِ٩
الإنجليزيةAnd the mountains will be like wool,
الألمانيةund die Berge wie gefärbte Wolle sein werden
70:9وَلَا يَسْـَٔلُ حَمِيمٌ حَمِيمًا١٠
الإنجليزيةAnd no friend will ask [anything of] a friend,
الألمانيةund kein warmherziger Freund seinen Freund (irgend etwas) fragt.

يُبَصَّرُونَهُمْ يَوَدُّ ٱلْمُجْرِمُ لَوْ يَفْتَدِى مِنْ عَذَابِ يَوْمِئِذٍۭ بِبَنِيهِ١١
الإنجليزيةThey will be shown each other. The criminal will wish that he could be ransomed from the punishment of that Day by his children
الألمانيةobwohl sie ihrem Anblick ausgesetzt sein werden. Der Übeltäter hätte es gern, wenn er sich von der Strafe jenes Tages loskaufte mit seinen Söhnen
70:11وَصَٰحِبَتِهِۦ وَأَخِيهِ١٢
الإنجليزيةAnd his wife and his brother
الألمانيةund seiner Gefährtin und seinem Bruder
70:12وَفَصِيلَتِهِ ٱلَّتِى تُـْٔوِيهِ١٣
الإنجليزيةAnd his nearest kindred who shelter him
الألمانيةund seiner Familie, die ihn aufgenommen hat,
70:13وَمَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا ثُمَّ يُنجِيهِ١٤
الإنجليزيةAnd whoever is on earth entirely [so] then it could save him.
الألمانيةund allen, die auf der Erde sind. (Er wünscht,) dies möge ihn hierauf retten.
70:14كَلَّآ إِنَّهَا لَظَىٰ١٥
الإنجليزيةNo! Indeed, it is the Flame [of Hell],
الألمانيةKeineswegs! Es ist doch ein loderndes Feuer,
70:15نَزَّاعَةً لِّلشَّوَىٰ١٦
الإنجليزيةA remover of exteriors.
الألمانيةdas die Kopfhaut abzieht',
70:16تَدْعُوا۟ مَنْ أَدْبَرَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ١٧
الإنجليزيةIt invites he who turned his back [on truth] and went away [from obedience]
الألمانيةdas (den) rufen wird, wer den Rücken kehrt und sich abkehrt,
70:17وَجَمَعَ فَأَوْعَىٰٓ١٨
الإنجليزيةAnd collected [wealth] and hoarded.
الألمانية(Besitz) zusammenträgt und dann in Behältern hortet.
70:18إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ خُلِقَ هَلُوعًا١٩
الإنجليزيةIndeed, mankind was created anxious:
الألمانيةGewiß, der Mensch ist als kleinmütig erschaffen.
70:19إِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلشَّرُّ جَزُوعًا٢٠
الإنجليزيةWhen evil touches him, impatient,
الألمانيةWenn ihm Schlechtes widerfährt, ist er sehr mutlos;
70:20وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلْخَيْرُ مَنُوعًا٢١
الإنجليزيةAnd when good touches him, withholding [of it],
الألمانيةund wenn ihm Gutes widerfährt, (ist er) ein stetiger Verweigerer,
70:21إِلَّا ٱلْمُصَلِّينَ٢٢
الإنجليزيةExcept the observers of prayer -
الألمانيةaußer den Betenden,
70:22ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمْ دَآئِمُونَ٢٣
الإنجليزيةThose who are constant in their prayer
الألمانيةdiejenigen, die in ihrem Gebet beharrlich sind
70:23وَٱلَّذِينَ فِىٓ أَمْوَٰلِهِمْ حَقٌّ مَّعْلُومٌ٢٤
الإنجليزيةAnd those within whose wealth is a known right
الألمانيةund die ein festgesetztes Recht an ihrem Besitz (zugestehen)
70:24لِّلسَّآئِلِ وَٱلْمَحْرُومِ٢٥
الإنجليزيةFor the petitioner and the deprived -
الألمانيةdem Bettler und dem Unbemittelten
70:25وَٱلَّذِينَ يُصَدِّقُونَ بِيَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ٢٦
الإنجليزيةAnd those who believe in the Day of Recompense
الألمانيةund die den Tag des Gerichts für wahr halten
70:26وَٱلَّذِينَ هُم مِّنْ عَذَابِ رَبِّهِم مُّشْفِقُونَ٢٧
الإنجليزيةAnd those who are fearful of the punishment of their Lord -
الألمانيةund diejenigen, die wegen der Strafe ihres Herrn besorgt sind,
70:27إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّهِمْ غَيْرُ مَأْمُونٍ٢٨
الإنجليزيةIndeed, the punishment of their Lord is not that from which one is safe -
الألمانية- denn gewiß, vor der Strafe ihres Herrn (kann) sich niemand sicher glauben,
70:28وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ لِفُرُوجِهِمْ حَٰفِظُونَ٢٩
الإنجليزيةAnd those who guard their private parts
الألمانية- und diejenigen, die ihre Scham hüten,
70:29إِلَّا عَلَىٰٓ أَزْوَٰجِهِمْ أَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَٰنُهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ غَيْرُ مَلُومِينَ٣٠
الإنجليزيةExcept from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they are not to be blamed -
الألمانيةaußer gegenüber ihren Gattinnen oder was ihre rechte Hand (an Sklavinnen) besitzt, denn sie sind (hierin) nicht zu tadeln,
70:30فَمَنِ ٱبْتَغَىٰ وَرَآءَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْعَادُونَ٣١
الإنجليزيةBut whoever seeks beyond that, then they are the transgressors -
الألمانية- wer aber darüber hinaus (etwas) begehrt, das sind die Übertreter,
70:31وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ لِأَمَٰنَٰتِهِمْ وَعَهْدِهِمْ رَٰعُونَ٣٢
الإنجليزيةAnd those who are to their trusts and promises attentive
الألمانية- und diejenigen, die auf die ihnen anvertrauten Güter und ihre Verpflichtung achtgeben,
70:32وَٱلَّذِينَ هُم بِشَهَٰدَٰتِهِمْ قَآئِمُونَ٣٣
الإنجليزيةAnd those who are in their testimonies upright
الألمانيةund diejenigen, die ihr Zeugnis in Aufrichtigkeit ablegen,
70:33وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَ٣٤
الإنجليزيةAnd those who [carefully] maintain their prayer:
الألمانيةund diejenigen, die ihr Gebet einhalten.
70:34أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ فِى جَنَّٰتٍ مُّكْرَمُونَ٣٥
الإنجليزيةThey will be in gardens, honored.
الألمانيةJene werden sich in Gärten befinden und (darin) geehrt.
70:35فَمَالِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ قِبَلَكَ مُهْطِعِينَ٣٦
الإنجليزيةSo what is [the matter] with those who disbelieve, hastening [from] before you, [O Muhammad],
الألمانيةWas ist mit denjenigen, die ungläubig sind, daß sie hastig auf dich zukommen
70:36عَنِ ٱلْيَمِينِ وَعَنِ ٱلشِّمَالِ عِزِينَ٣٧
الإنجليزية[To sit] on [your] right and [your] left in separate groups?
الألمانيةrechts und links, in Gruppen aufgeteilt?
70:37أَيَطْمَعُ كُلُّ ٱمْرِئٍ مِّنْهُمْ أَن يُدْخَلَ جَنَّةَ نَعِيمٍ٣٨
الإنجليزيةDoes every person among them aspire to enter a garden of pleasure?
الألمانيةBegehrt (etwa) jedermann von ihnen, in einen Garten der Wonne eingelassen zu werden?
70:38كَلَّآ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَٰهُم مِّمَّا يَعْلَمُونَ٣٩
الإنجليزيةNo! Indeed, We have created them from that which they know.
الألمانيةKeineswegs! Wir haben sie doch aus dem erschaffen, was sie wissen.

فَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِرَبِّ ٱلْمَشَٰرِقِ وَٱلْمَغَٰرِبِ إِنَّا لَقَٰدِرُونَ٤٠
الإنجليزيةSo I swear by the Lord of [all] risings and settings that indeed We are able
الألمانيةNein! Ich schwöre beim Herrn der Osten und der Westen, Wir haben fürwahr die Macht dazu,
70:40
