بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ١
EnglishIn the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
GermanIm Namen Allahs, des Allerbarmers, des Barmherzigen.
1:1ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ٢
English[All] praise is [due] to Allah, Lord of the worlds -
German(Alles) Lob gehört Allah, dem Herrn der Welten,
1:2ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ٣
EnglishThe Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful,
Germandem Allerbarmer, dem Barmherzigen,
1:3مَٰلِكِ يَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ٤
EnglishSovereign of the Day of Recompense.
Germandem Herrscher am Tag des Gerichts.
1:4إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ٥
EnglishIt is You we worship and You we ask for help.
GermanDir allein dienen wir, und zu Dir allein flehen wir um Hilfe.
1:5ٱهْدِنَا ٱلصِّرَٰطَ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمَ٦
EnglishGuide us to the straight path -
GermanLeite uns den geraden Weg,
1:6صِرَٰطَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ ٱلْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا ٱلضَّآلِّينَ٧
EnglishThe path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray.
Germanden Weg derjenigen, denen Du Gunst erwiesen hast, nicht derjenigen, die (Deinen) Zorn erregt haben, und nicht der Irregehenden!
