الأعلى87. Al-A'laa

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

2. سَبِّحِ ٱسْمَ رَبِّكَ ٱلْأَعْلَى۝١

   EnglishExalt the name of your Lord, the Most High,

   GermanPreise den Namen deines höchsten Herrn,

3. ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ۝٢

   EnglishWho created and proportioned

   GermanDer erschafft und dann zurechtformt

4. وَٱلَّذِى قَدَّرَ فَهَدَىٰ۝٣

   EnglishAnd who destined and [then] guided

   Germanund Der das Maß festsetzt und dann rechtleitet

5. وَٱلَّذِىٓ أَخْرَجَ ٱلْمَرْعَىٰ۝٤

   EnglishAnd who brings out the pasture

   Germanund Der die Weide hervorbringt

6. فَجَعَلَهُۥ غُثَآءً أَحْوَىٰ۝٥

   EnglishAnd [then] makes it black stubble.

   Germanund sie dann zu dunkelbrauner Spreu macht.

7. سَنُقْرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنسَىٰٓ۝٦

   EnglishWe will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget,

   GermanWir werden dich lesen lassen, und dann wirst du nichts vergessen,

8. إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ إِنَّهُۥ يَعْلَمُ ٱلْجَهْرَ وَمَا يَخْفَىٰ۝٧

   EnglishExcept what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden.

   Germanaußer dem, was Allah will. Er weiß ja, was laut vernehmbar geäußert wird und was verborgen bleibt.

   87:7☆BookmarkTafsir⋯Actions for ayah 87:7

9. وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلْيُسْرَىٰ۝٨

   EnglishAnd We will ease you toward ease.

   GermanUnd Wir werden dir den Weg zum Leichteren leicht machen.

   87:8☆BookmarkTafsir⋯Actions for ayah 87:8

10. فَذَكِّرْ إِن نَّفَعَتِ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ۝٩

    EnglishSo remind, if the reminder should benefit;

    GermanSo ermahne -, wenn die Ermahnung nützt.

11. سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَن يَخْشَىٰ۝١٠

    EnglishHe who fears [Allah] will be reminded.

    GermanBedenken wird jemand, der gottesfürchtig ist.

12. وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا ٱلْأَشْقَى۝١١

    EnglishBut the wretched one will avoid it -

    GermanMeiden aber wird es der Unseligste,

13. ٱلَّذِى يَصْلَى ٱلنَّارَ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰ۝١٢

    English[He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire,

    Germander dem größten (Höllen)feuer ausgesetzt sein wird;

14. ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحْيَىٰ۝١٣

    EnglishNeither dying therein nor living.

    Germandarin wird er hierauf weder sterben noch leben.

15. قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن تَزَكَّىٰ۝١٤

    EnglishHe has certainly succeeded who purifies himself

    GermanWohl ergehen wird es ja jemandem, der sich läutert,

16. وَذَكَرَ ٱسْمَ رَبِّهِۦ فَصَلَّىٰ۝١٥

    EnglishAnd mentions the name of his Lord and prays.

    Germanund des Namens seines Herrn gedenkt; so betet er.

18. بَلْ تُؤْثِرُونَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا۝١٦

    EnglishBut you prefer the worldly life,

    GermanNein! Vielmehr zieht ihr das diesseitige Leben vor,

19. وَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَىٰٓ۝١٧

    EnglishWhile the Hereafter is better and more enduring.

    Germanwährend das Jenseits besser und beständiger ist.

    87:17☆BookmarkTafsir⋯Actions for ayah 87:17

20. إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَفِى ٱلصُّحُفِ ٱلْأُولَىٰ۝١٨

    EnglishIndeed, this is in the former scriptures,

    GermanDies ist wahrlich in den früheren Blättern (enthalten),

21. صُحُفِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ۝١٩

    EnglishThe scriptures of Abraham and Moses.
