بِّسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

2. وَٱلتِّينِ وَٱلزَّيْتُونِ۝١

3. وَطُورِ سِينِينَ۝٢

   EnglishAnd [by] Mount Sinai

   Germanund dem Berg Sinin

4. وَهَٰذَا ٱلْبَلَدِ ٱلْأَمِينِ۝٣

   EnglishAnd [by] this secure city [Makkah],

   Germanund dieser sicheren Ortschaft!

5. لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ فِىٓ أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ۝٤

   EnglishWe have certainly created man in the best of stature;

   GermanWir haben den Menschen ja in schönster Gestaltung erschaffen,

6. ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَٰهُ أَسْفَلَ سَٰفِلِينَ۝٥

   EnglishThen We return him to the lowest of the low,

   Germanhierauf haben Wir ihn zu den Niedrigsten der Niedrigen werden lassen,

7. إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ۝٦

   EnglishExcept for those who believe and do righteous deeds, for they will have a reward uninterrupted.

   Germanaußer denjenigen, die glauben und rechtschaffene Werke tun; für sie wird es einen Lohn geben, der nicht aufhört.

8. فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِٱلدِّينِ۝٧

   EnglishSo what yet causes you to deny the Recompense?

   GermanWas läßt dich da weiterhin das Gericht für Lüge erklären?

9. أَلَيْسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ ٱلْحَٰكِمِينَ۝٨

   EnglishIs not Allah the most just of judges?

   GermanIst nicht Allah der Weiseste derjenigen, die richten?
