Surah 10 Yunus, ayah 74 (10:74)

Ayah 10:74

ثُمَّ بَعَثْنَا مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ رُسُلًا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِمْ فَجَآءُوهُم بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ فَمَا كَانُوا۟ لِيُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِمَا كَذَّبُوا۟ بِهِۦ مِن قَبْلُ كَذَٰلِكَ نَطْبَعُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِ ٱلْمُعْتَدِينَ۝٧٤

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilThumma baAAathna min baAAdihi rusulan ila qawmihim fajaoohum bialbayyinati fama kanoo liyuminoo bima kaththaboo bihi min qablu kathalika natbaAAu AAala quloobi almuAAtadeena

English · Saheeh InternationalThen We sent after him messengers to their peoples, and they came to them with clear proofs. But they were not to believe in that which they had denied before. Thus We seal over the hearts of the transgressors

German · Bubenheim & ElyasHierauf schickten Wir nach ihm Gesandte zu ihrem (jeweiligen) Volk; sie kamen mit den klaren Beweisen zu ihnen. Aber sie waren nicht bereit, an das zu glauben, was sie zuvor für Lüge erklärt hatten. So versiegeln Wir die Herzen der Übertreter.
