Surah 11 Hud, ayah 27 (11:27)

Ayah 11:27

فَقَالَ ٱلْمَلَأُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن قَوْمِهِۦ مَا نَرَىٰكَ إِلَّا بَشَرًا مِّثْلَنَا وَمَا نَرَىٰكَ ٱتَّبَعَكَ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ أَرَاذِلُنَا بَادِىَ ٱلرَّأْىِ وَمَا نَرَىٰ لَكُمْ عَلَيْنَا مِن فَضْلٍۭ بَلْ نَظُنُّكُمْ كَٰذِبِينَ۝٢٧

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilFaqala almalao allatheena kafaroo min qawmihi ma naraka illa basharan mithlana wama naraka ittabaAAaka illa allatheena hum arathiluna badiya alrrayi wama nara lakum AAalayna min fadlin bal nathunnukum kathibeena

English · Saheeh InternationalSo the eminent among those who disbelieved from his people said, "We do not see you but as a man like ourselves, and we do not see you followed except by those who are the lowest of us [and] at first suggestion. And we do not see in you over us any merit; rather, we think you are liars."

German · Bubenheim & ElyasDa sagte die führende Schar aus seinem Volk, die ungläubig war: "Wir sehen in dir nur einen Menschen unseresgleichen. Und wir sehen, daß nur die dir folgen, die unsere Niedrigsten sind, und zwar ohne reifliche Überlegung. Und wir sehen bei euch keinen Vorzug gegenüber uns. Vielmehr meinen wir, daß ihr Lügner seid."
