قَالَ سَـَٔاوِىٓ إِلَىٰ جَبَلٍ يَعْصِمُنِى مِنَ ٱلْمَآءِ قَالَ لَا عَاصِمَ ٱلْيَوْمَ مِنْ أَمْرِ ٱللَّهِ إِلَّا مَن رَّحِمَ وَحَالَ بَيْنَهُمَا ٱلْمَوْجُ فَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُغْرَقِينَ
Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilQala saawee ila jabalin yaAAsimunee mina almai qala la AAasima alyawma min amri Allahi illa man rahima wahala baynahuma almawju fakana mina almughraqeena
English · Saheeh International[But] he said, "I will take refuge on a mountain to protect me from the water." [Noah] said, "There is no protector today from the decree of Allah, except for whom He gives mercy." And the waves came between them, and he was among the drowned.
German · Bubenheim & ElyasEr sagte: "Ich werde auf einem Berg Zuflucht suchen, der mich vor dem Wasser schützt." Er sagte: "Es gibt heute nichts, das vor dem Befehl Allahs schützen könnte, außer für den, dessen Er Sich erbarmt." Die Wogen trennten sie beide, und so gehörte er zu denjenigen, die ertränkt wurden.
