Surah 11 Hud, ayah 78 (11:78)

Ayah 11:78

وَجَآءَهُۥ قَوْمُهُۥ يُهْرَعُونَ إِلَيْهِ وَمِن قَبْلُ كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ قَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ بَنَاتِى هُنَّ أَطْهَرُ لَكُمْ فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَلَا تُخْزُونِ فِى ضَيْفِىٓ أَلَيْسَ مِنكُمْ رَجُلٌ رَّشِيدٌ۝٧٨

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilWajaahu qawmuhu yuhraAAoona ilayhi wamin qablu kanoo yaAAmaloona alssayyiati qala ya qawmi haolai banatee hunna atharu lakum faittaqoo Allaha wala tukhzooni fee dayfee alaysa minkum rajulun rasheedun

English · Saheeh InternationalAnd his people came hastening to him, and before [this] they had been doing evil deeds. He said, "O my people, these are my daughters; they are purer for you. So fear Allah and do not disgrace me concerning my guests. Is there not among you a man of reason?"

German · Bubenheim & ElyasSeine Leute kamen eilig zu ihm getrieben. Zuvor pflegten sie böse Taten zu begehen. Er sagte: "O mein Volk, dies hier sind meine Töchter, sie sind reiner für euch. So fürchtet Allah und stürzt mich nicht um meiner Gäste willen in Schande! Gibt es denn unter euch keinen besonnenen Mann?"
