Surah 12 Yusuf, ayah 19 (12:19)

Ayah 12:19

وَجَآءَتْ سَيَّارَةٌ فَأَرْسَلُوا۟ وَارِدَهُمْ فَأَدْلَىٰ دَلْوَهُۥ قَالَ يَٰبُشْرَىٰ هَٰذَا غُلَٰمٌ وَأَسَرُّوهُ بِضَٰعَةً وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌۢ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ۝١٩

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilWajaat sayyaratun faarsaloo waridahum faadla dalwahu qala ya bushra hatha ghulamun waasarroohu bidaAAatan waAllahu AAaleemun bima yaAAmaloona

English · Saheeh InternationalAnd there came a company of travelers; then they sent their water drawer, and he let down his bucket. He said, "Good news! Here is a boy." And they concealed him, [taking him] as merchandise; and Allah was knowing of what they did.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasReisende kamen vorbei. Sie sandten ihren Wasserschöpfer, und er ließ seinen Eimer hinunter. Er sagte: "O frohe Botschaft! Da ist ein Junge." Sie verbargen ihn als Ware. Und Allah wußte wohl, was sie taten.
