Surah 12 Yusuf, ayah 41 (12:41)

Ayah 12:41

يَٰصَٰحِبَىِ ٱلسِّجْنِ أَمَّآ أَحَدُكُمَا فَيَسْقِى رَبَّهُۥ خَمْرًا وَأَمَّا ٱلْـَٔاخَرُ فَيُصْلَبُ فَتَأْكُلُ ٱلطَّيْرُ مِن رَّأْسِهِۦ قُضِىَ ٱلْأَمْرُ ٱلَّذِى فِيهِ تَسْتَفْتِيَانِ۝٤١

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilYa sahibayi alssijni amma ahadukuma fayasqee rabbahu khamran waamma alakharu fayuslabu fatakulu alttayru min rasihi qudiya alamru allathee feehi tastaftiyani

English · Saheeh InternationalO two companions of prison, as for one of you, he will give drink to his master of wine; but as for the other, he will be crucified, and the birds will eat from his head. The matter has been decreed about which you both inquire."

German · Bubenheim & ElyasO meine beiden Gefangnisgefährten! Was den einen von euch angeht, so wird er seinem Herrn Wein zu trinken geben. Was aber den anderen angeht, so wird er gekreuzigt, und die Vögel werden von seinem Kopf fressen. Entschieden ist die Angelegenheit, über die ihr um Auskunft fragt."
