Surah 12 Yusuf, ayah 64 (12:64)

Ayah 12:64

قَالَ هَلْ ءَامَنُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا كَمَآ أَمِنتُكُمْ عَلَىٰٓ أَخِيهِ مِن قَبْلُ فَٱللَّهُ خَيْرٌ حَٰفِظًا وَهُوَ أَرْحَمُ ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ۝٦٤

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilQala hal amanukum AAalayhi illa kama amintukum AAala akheehi min qablu faAllahu khayrun hafithan wahuwa arhamu alrrahimeena

English · Saheeh InternationalHe said, "Should I entrust you with him except [under coercion] as I entrusted you with his brother before? But Allah is the best guardian, and He is the most merciful of the merciful."

German · Bubenheim & ElyasEr sagte: "Kann ich ihn euch etwa anders anvertrauen, als ich euch zuvor seinen Bruder anvertraut habe? Allah ist besser als Behütender, und Er ist der Barmherzigste der Barmherzigen."
