Surah 16 An-Nahl, ayah 26 (16:26)

Ayah 16:26

قَدْ مَكَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَأَتَى ٱللَّهُ بُنْيَٰنَهُم مِّنَ ٱلْقَوَاعِدِ فَخَرَّ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلسَّقْفُ مِن فَوْقِهِمْ وَأَتَىٰهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ۝٢٦

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilQad makara allatheena min qablihim faata Allahu bunyanahum mina alqawaAAidi fakharra AAalayhimu alssaqfu min fawqihim waatahumu alAAathabu min haythu la yashAAuroona

English · Saheeh InternationalThose before them had already plotted, but Allah came at their building from the foundations, so the roof fell upon them from above them, and the punishment came to them from where they did not perceive.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasRänke schmiedeten bereits diejenigen, die vor ihnen waren. Da ging Allah ihren Bau an den Grundmauern an, so daß das Dach über ihnen auf sie herabfiel, und die Strafe über sie kam, von wo sie nicht merkten.
