Surah 17 Al-Israa, ayah 31 (17:31)

Ayah 17:31

وَلَا تَقْتُلُوٓا۟ أَوْلَٰدَكُمْ خَشْيَةَ إِمْلَٰقٍ نَّحْنُ نَرْزُقُهُمْ وَإِيَّاكُمْ إِنَّ قَتْلَهُمْ كَانَ خِطْـًٔا كَبِيرًا۝٣١

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilWala taqtuloo awladakum khashyata imlaqin nahnu narzuquhum waiyyakum inna qatlahum kana khitan kabeeran

English · Saheeh InternationalAnd do not kill your children for fear of poverty. We provide for them and for you. Indeed, their killing is ever a great sin.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasUnd tötet nicht eure Kinder aus Furcht vor Verarmung; Wir versorgen sie und auch euch. Gewiß, sie zu töten ist ein großes Vergehen.
