Surah 17 Al-Israa, ayah 67 (17:67)

Ayah 17:67

وَإِذَا مَسَّكُمُ ٱلضُّرُّ فِى ٱلْبَحْرِ ضَلَّ مَن تَدْعُونَ إِلَّآ إِيَّاهُ فَلَمَّا نَجَّىٰكُمْ إِلَى ٱلْبَرِّ أَعْرَضْتُمْ وَكَانَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ كَفُورًا۝٦٧

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilWaitha massakumu alddurru fee albahri dalla man tadAAoona illa iyyahu falamma najjakum ila albarri aAAradtum wakana alinsanu kafooran

English · Saheeh InternationalAnd when adversity touches you at sea, lost are [all] those you invoke except for Him. But when He delivers you to the land, you turn away [from Him]. And ever is man ungrateful.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasUnd wenn euch auf dem Meer ein Unheil widerfährt, entschwinden (euch) diejenigen, die ihr außer Ihm anruft. Aber nachdem Er euch ans (Fest)land errettet hat, wendet ihr euch (von Ihm) ab; der Mensch ist eben sehr undankbar.
