Surah 17 Al-Israa, ayah 73 (17:73)

Ayah 17:73

وَإِن كَادُوا۟ لَيَفْتِنُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْكَ لِتَفْتَرِىَ عَلَيْنَا غَيْرَهُۥ وَإِذًا لَّٱتَّخَذُوكَ خَلِيلًا۝٧٣

English · Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, they were about to tempt you away from that which We revealed to you in order to [make] you invent about Us something else; and then they would have taken you as a friend.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasBeinahe hätten sie dich fürwahr verfuhrt (und) von dem (abgebracht), was Wir dir (als Offenbarung) eingegeben haben, damit du gegen Uns etwas anderes ersinnst, und dann hätten sie dich wahrlich zum Freund genommen.
