Surah 17 Al-Israa, ayah 93 (17:93)

Ayah 17:93

أَوْ يَكُونَ لَكَ بَيْتٌ مِّن زُخْرُفٍ أَوْ تَرْقَىٰ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَلَن نُّؤْمِنَ لِرُقِيِّكَ حَتَّىٰ تُنَزِّلَ عَلَيْنَا كِتَٰبًا نَّقْرَؤُهُۥ قُلْ سُبْحَانَ رَبِّى هَلْ كُنتُ إِلَّا بَشَرًا رَّسُولًا۝٩٣

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilAw yakoona laka baytun min zukhrufin aw tarqa fee alssamai walan numina liruqiyyika hatta tunazzila AAalayna kitaban naqraohu qul subhana rabbee hal kuntu illa basharan rasoolan

English · Saheeh InternationalOr you have a house of gold or you ascend into the sky. And [even then], we will not believe in your ascension until you bring down to us a book we may read." Say, "Exalted is my Lord! Was I ever but a human messenger?"

German · Bubenheim & Elyasoder (bis) du ein Haus aus Gold hast oder in den Himmel aufsteigst. Und wir werden nicht an deinen Aufstieg glauben, bis du auf uns ein Buch herabsendest, das wir (selbst) lesen (können).." Sag: Preis sei meinem Herrn! Bin ich etwas anderes als ein menschliches Wesen und ein Gesandter?
