Surah 2 Al-Baqara, ayah 135 (2:135)

Ayah 2:135

وَقَالُوا۟ كُونُوا۟ هُودًا أَوْ نَصَٰرَىٰ تَهْتَدُوا۟ قُلْ بَلْ مِلَّةَ إِبْرَٰهِـۧمَ حَنِيفًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ۝١٣٥

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilWaqaloo koonoo hoodan aw nasara tahtadoo qul bal millata ibraheema haneefan wama kana mina almushrikeena

English · Saheeh InternationalThey say, "Be Jews or Christians [so] you will be guided." Say, "Rather, [we follow] the religion of Abraham, inclining toward truth, and he was not of the polytheists."

German · Bubenheim & ElyasSie sagen: "Werdet Juden oder Christen, so seid ihr rechtgeleitet." Sag: Nein! Vielmehr das Glaubensbekenntnis Ibrahims, Anhängers des rechten Glaubens, und er gehörte nicht zu den Götzendienern.
