Surah 2 Al-Baqara, ayah 154 (2:154)

Ayah 2:154

وَلَا تَقُولُوا۟ لِمَن يُقْتَلُ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ أَمْوَٰتٌۢ بَلْ أَحْيَآءٌ وَلَٰكِن لَّا تَشْعُرُونَ۝١٥٤

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilWala taqooloo liman yuqtalu fee sabeeli Allahi amwatun bal ahyaon walakin la tashAAuroona

English · Saheeh InternationalAnd do not say about those who are killed in the way of Allah, "They are dead." Rather, they are alive, but you perceive [it] not.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasUnd sagt nicht von denen, die auf Allahs Weg getötet werden, sie seien tot! Nein! Vielmehr sind sie lebendig; aber ihr nehmt es nicht wahr.
