Surah 2 Al-Baqara, ayah 194 (2:194)

Ayah 2:194

ٱلشَّهْرُ ٱلْحَرَامُ بِٱلشَّهْرِ ٱلْحَرَامِ وَٱلْحُرُمَٰتُ قِصَاصٌ فَمَنِ ٱعْتَدَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ فَٱعْتَدُوا۟ عَلَيْهِ بِمِثْلِ مَا ٱعْتَدَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ۝١٩٤

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilAlshshahru alharamu bialshshahri alharami waalhurumatu qisasun famani iAAtada AAalaykum faiAAtadoo AAalayhi bimithli ma iAAtada AAalaykum waittaqoo Allaha waiAAlamoo anna Allaha maAAa almuttaqeena

English · Saheeh International[Fighting in] the sacred month is for [aggression committed in] the sacred month, and for [all] violations is legal retribution. So whoever has assaulted you, then assault him in the same way that he has assaulted you. And fear Allah and know that Allah is with those who fear Him.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasDer Schutzmonat ist für den Schutzmonat, und (für) die unantastbaren Dinge ist Wiedervergeltung. Wenn jemand gegen euch übertritt, dann geht (auch ihr) in gleichem Maß gegen ihn vor, wie er gegen euch übertreten hat. Und fürchtet Allah und wißt, daß Allah mit den Gottesfürchtigen ist.
