Surah 20 Taa-Haa, ayah 61 (20:61)

Ayah 20:61

قَالَ لَهُم مُّوسَىٰ وَيْلَكُمْ لَا تَفْتَرُوا۟ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًا فَيُسْحِتَكُم بِعَذَابٍ وَقَدْ خَابَ مَنِ ٱفْتَرَىٰ۝٦١

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilQala lahum moosa waylakum la taftaroo AAala Allahi kathiban fayushitakum biAAathabin waqad khaba mani iftara

English · Saheeh InternationalMoses said to the magicians summoned by Pharaoh, "Woe to you! Do not invent a lie against Allah or He will exterminate you with a punishment; and he has failed who invents [such falsehood]."

German · Bubenheim & ElyasMusa sagte zu ihnen: "Wehe euch! Ersinnt gegen Allah keine Lüge, sonst vertilgt Er euch durch eine Strafe. Enttäuscht wird ja, wer Lügen ersinnt."
