Surah 21 Al-Anbiyaa, ayah 44 (21:44)

Ayah 21:44

بَلْ مَتَّعْنَا هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ وَءَابَآءَهُمْ حَتَّىٰ طَالَ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْعُمُرُ أَفَلَا يَرَوْنَ أَنَّا نَأْتِى ٱلْأَرْضَ نَنقُصُهَا مِنْ أَطْرَافِهَآ أَفَهُمُ ٱلْغَٰلِبُونَ۝٤٤

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilBal mattaAAna haolai waabaahum hatta tala AAalayhimu alAAumuru afala yarawna anna natee alarda nanqusuha min atrafiha afahumu alghaliboona

English · Saheeh InternationalBut, [on the contrary], We have provided good things for these [disbelievers] and their fathers until life was prolonged for them. Then do they not see that We set upon the land, reducing it from its borders? So it is they who will overcome?

German · Bubenheim & ElyasNein! Vielmehr haben Wir diesen da und ihren Vätern Nießbrauch gewährt, bis sie ein langes Leben geführt haben. Sehen sie denn nicht, daß Wir über das Land kommen und es an seinen Enden vermindern? Werden denn sie die Sieger sein?
