Surah 22 Al-Hajj, ayah 46 (22:46)

Ayah 22:46

أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَتَكُونَ لَهُمْ قُلُوبٌ يَعْقِلُونَ بِهَآ أَوْ ءَاذَانٌ يَسْمَعُونَ بِهَا فَإِنَّهَا لَا تَعْمَى ٱلْأَبْصَٰرُ وَلَٰكِن تَعْمَى ٱلْقُلُوبُ ٱلَّتِى فِى ٱلصُّدُورِ۝٤٦

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilAfalam yaseeroo fee alardi fatakoona lahum quloobun yaAAqiloona biha aw athanun yasmaAAoona biha fainnaha la taAAma alabsaru walakin taAAma alquloobu allatee fee alssudoori

English · Saheeh InternationalSo have they not traveled through the earth and have hearts by which to reason and ears by which to hear? For indeed, it is not eyes that are blinded, but blinded are the hearts which are within the breasts.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasReisen sie denn nicht auf der Erde umher, so daß sie Herzen bekommen, mit denen sie begreifen, oder Ohren, mit denen sie hören? Denn nicht die Blicke sind blind, sondern blind sind die Herzen, die in den Brüsten sind.
