Surah 23 Al-Muminoon, ayah 71 (23:71)

Ayah 23:71

وَلَوِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلْحَقُّ أَهْوَآءَهُمْ لَفَسَدَتِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ وَٱلْأَرْضُ وَمَن فِيهِنَّ بَلْ أَتَيْنَٰهُم بِذِكْرِهِمْ فَهُمْ عَن ذِكْرِهِم مُّعْرِضُونَ۝٧١

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilWalawi ittabaAAa alhaqqu ahwaahum lafasadati alssamawatu waalardu waman feehinna bal ataynahum bithikrihim fahum AAan thikrihim muAAridoona

English · Saheeh InternationalBut if the Truth had followed their inclinations, the heavens and the earth and whoever is in them would have been ruined. Rather, We have brought them their message, but they, from their message, are turning away.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasWenn die Wahrheit ihren Neigungen gefolgt wäre, gerieten die Himmel und die Erde und wer in ihnen ist wahrlich ins Verderben. Aber nein! Wir kamen zu ihnen mit ihrer Ermahnung, sie aber wenden sich von ihrer Ermahnung ab.
