Surah 24 An-Noor, ayah 58 (24:58)

Ayah 24:58

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لِيَسْتَـْٔذِنكُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَٰنُكُمْ وَٱلَّذِينَ لَمْ يَبْلُغُوا۟ ٱلْحُلُمَ مِنكُمْ ثَلَٰثَ مَرَّٰتٍ مِّن قَبْلِ صَلَوٰةِ ٱلْفَجْرِ وَحِينَ تَضَعُونَ ثِيَابَكُم مِّنَ ٱلظَّهِيرَةِ وَمِنۢ بَعْدِ صَلَوٰةِ ٱلْعِشَآءِ ثَلَٰثُ عَوْرَٰتٍ لَّكُمْ لَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَا عَلَيْهِمْ جُنَاحٌۢ بَعْدَهُنَّ طَوَّٰفُونَ عَلَيْكُم بَعْضُكُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمُ ٱلْـَٔايَٰتِ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ۝٥٨

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilYa ayyuha allatheena amanoo liyastathinkumu allatheena malakat aymanukum waallatheena lam yablughoo alhuluma minkum thalatha marratin min qabli salati alfajri waheena tadaAAoona thiyabakum mina alththaheerati wamin baAAdi salati alAAishai thalathu AAawratin lakum laysa AAalaykum wala AAalayhim junahun baAAdahunna tawwafoona AAalaykum baAAdukum AAala baAAdin kathalika yubayyinu Allahu lakumu alayati waAllahu AAaleemun hakeemun

English · Saheeh InternationalO you who have believed, let those whom your right hands possess and those who have not [yet] reached puberty among you ask permission of you [before entering] at three times: before the dawn prayer and when you put aside your clothing [for rest] at noon and after the night prayer. [These are] three times of privacy for you. There is no blame upon you nor upon them beyond these [periods], for they continually circulate among you - some of you, among others. Thus does Allah make clear to you the verses; and Allah is Knowing and Wise.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasO die ihr glaubt, diejenigen, die eure rechte Hand (an Sklaven) besitzt, und diejenigen von euch, die noch nicht die Geschlechtsreife erreicht haben, sollen euch zu drei Zeiten um Erlaubnis bitten: vor dem Gebet (in) der Morgendäm merung, wenn ihr zur Zeit der Mittagshitze eure Gewänder ablegt, und nach dem Abendgebet. Das sind drei (Zeiten, in denen die) Blößen von euch (sichtbar sein könnten). Es ist außerhalb dieser (Zeiten) weder für euch noch für sie eine Sünde. Sie gehen oft unter euch umher, und das tut ihr untereinander. So macht Allah euch die Zeichen klar. Und Allah ist Allwissend und Allweise.
