Surah 28 Al-Qasas, ayah 38 (28:38)

Ayah 28:38

وَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْمَلَأُ مَا عَلِمْتُ لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَٰهٍ غَيْرِى فَأَوْقِدْ لِى يَٰهَٰمَٰنُ عَلَى ٱلطِّينِ فَٱجْعَل لِّى صَرْحًا لَّعَلِّىٓ أَطَّلِعُ إِلَىٰٓ إِلَٰهِ مُوسَىٰ وَإِنِّى لَأَظُنُّهُۥ مِنَ ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ۝٣٨

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilWaqala firAAawnu ya ayyuha almalao ma AAalimtu lakum min ilahin ghayree faawqid lee ya hamanu AAala altteeni faijAAal lee sarhan laAAallee attaliAAu ila ilahi moosa wainnee laathunnuhu mina alkathibeena

English · Saheeh InternationalAnd Pharaoh said, "O eminent ones, I have not known you to have a god other than me. Then ignite for me, O Haman, [a fire] upon the clay and make for me a tower that I may look at the God of Moses. And indeed, I do think he is among the liars."

German · Bubenheim & ElyasUnd Fir'aun sagte: "O ihr führende Schar, keinen anderen Gott weiß ich für euch als mich (selbst). So entfache mir, o Haman, einen Brand auf Lehm, und mache mir einen Hochbau, auf daß ich zum Gott Musas emporsteige. Ich glaube fürwahr, daß er zu den Lügnern gehört."
