Surah 28 Al-Qasas, ayah 76 (28:76)

Ayah 28:76

إِنَّ قَٰرُونَ كَانَ مِن قَوْمِ مُوسَىٰ فَبَغَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُ مِنَ ٱلْكُنُوزِ مَآ إِنَّ مَفَاتِحَهُۥ لَتَنُوٓأُ بِٱلْعُصْبَةِ أُو۟لِى ٱلْقُوَّةِ إِذْ قَالَ لَهُۥ قَوْمُهُۥ لَا تَفْرَحْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلْفَرِحِينَ۝٧٦

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilInna qaroona kana min qawmi moosa fabagha AAalayhim waataynahu mina alkunoozi ma inna mafatihahu latanooo bialAAusbati olee alquwwati ith qala lahu qawmuhu la tafrah inna Allaha la yuhibbu alfariheena

English · Saheeh InternationalIndeed, Qarun was from the people of Moses, but he tyrannized them. And We gave him of treasures whose keys would burden a band of strong men; thereupon his people said to him, "Do not exult. Indeed, Allah does not like the exultant.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasGewiß, Qarun gehörte zum Volk Musas, doch unterdrückte er sie. Und Wir gaben ihm solche Schätze, daß deren Schlüssel wahrlich eine schwere Last für eine (ganze) Schar kräftiger Männer gewesen wären. Als sein Volk zu ihm sagte: "Sei nicht (übermütig) froh, denn Allah liebt nicht diejenigen (Unterdrücker), die (zu übermütig) froh sind,
