Surah 3 Aal-i-Imraan, ayah 13 (3:13)

Ayah 3:13

قَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ ءَايَةٌ فِى فِئَتَيْنِ ٱلْتَقَتَا فِئَةٌ تُقَٰتِلُ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَأُخْرَىٰ كَافِرَةٌ يَرَوْنَهُم مِّثْلَيْهِمْ رَأْىَ ٱلْعَيْنِ وَٱللَّهُ يُؤَيِّدُ بِنَصْرِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَعِبْرَةً لِّأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَبْصَٰرِ۝١٣

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilQad kana lakum ayatun fee fiatayni iltaqata fiatun tuqatilu fee sabeeli Allahi waokhra kafiratun yarawnahum mithlayhim raya alAAayni waAllahu yuayyidu binasrihi man yashao inna fee thalika laAAibratan liolee alabsari

English · Saheeh InternationalAlready there has been for you a sign in the two armies which met - one fighting in the cause of Allah and another of disbelievers. They saw them [to be] twice their [own] number by [their] eyesight. But Allah supports with His victory whom He wills. Indeed in that is a lesson for those of vision.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasIhr hattet ja ein Zeichen in zwei Scharen, die aufeinandertrafen: Die eine kämpfte auf Allahs Weg und eine andere, ungläubige. Sie sahen sie dem Augenschein nach zweimal so viel, wie sie (selbst waren). Und Allah stärkt mit Seiner Hilfe, wen Er will. Darin ist wahrlich eine Lehre für diejenigen, die Einsicht besitzen.
