Surah 3 Aal-i-Imraan, ayah 39 (3:39)

Ayah 3:39

فَنَادَتْهُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَهُوَ قَآئِمٌ يُصَلِّى فِى ٱلْمِحْرَابِ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُبَشِّرُكَ بِيَحْيَىٰ مُصَدِّقًۢا بِكَلِمَةٍ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَسَيِّدًا وَحَصُورًا وَنَبِيًّا مِّنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ۝٣٩

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilFanadathu almalaikatu wahuwa qaimun yusallee fee almihrabi anna Allaha yubashshiruka biyahya musaddiqan bikalimatin mina Allahi wasayyidan wahasooran wanabiyyan mina alssaliheena

English · Saheeh InternationalSo the angels called him while he was standing in prayer in the chamber, "Indeed, Allah gives you good tidings of John, confirming a word from Allah and [who will be] honorable, abstaining [from women], and a prophet from among the righteous."

German · Bubenheim & ElyasUnd da riefen ihm die Engel zu, während er betend in der Zelle stand: "Allah verkündet dir Yahya, ein Wort von Allah zu bestätigen, einen Herrn, einen Keuschen und Propheten von den Rechtschaffenen."
