Surah 30 Ar-Room, ayah 36 (30:36)

Ayah 30:36

وَإِذَآ أَذَقْنَا ٱلنَّاسَ رَحْمَةً فَرِحُوا۟ بِهَا وَإِن تُصِبْهُمْ سَيِّئَةٌۢ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ إِذَا هُمْ يَقْنَطُونَ۝٣٦

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilWaitha athaqna alnnasa rahmatan farihoo biha wain tusibhum sayyiatun bima qaddamat aydeehim itha hum yaqnatoona

English · Saheeh InternationalAnd when We let the people taste mercy, they rejoice therein, but if evil afflicts them for what their hands have put forth, immediately they despair.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasUnd wenn Wir die Menschen Barmherzigkeit kosten lassen, sind sie froh darüber. Wenn sie aber etwas Böses trifft für das, was ihre Hände vorausgeschickt haben, verlieren sie sogleich die Hoffnung.
