Surah 33 Al-Ahzaab, ayah 23 (33:23)

Ayah 33:23

مِّنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوا۟ مَا عَٰهَدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ فَمِنْهُم مَّن قَضَىٰ نَحْبَهُۥ وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَنتَظِرُ وَمَا بَدَّلُوا۟ تَبْدِيلًا۝٢٣

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilMina almumineena rijalun sadaqoo ma AAahadoo Allaha AAalayhi faminhum man qada nahbahu waminhum man yantathiru wama baddaloo tabdeelan

English · Saheeh InternationalAmong the believers are men true to what they promised Allah. Among them is he who has fulfilled his vow [to the death], and among them is he who awaits [his chance]. And they did not alter [the terms of their commitment] by any alteration -

German · Bubenheim & ElyasUnter den Gläubigen gibt es Männer, die das wahr gemacht haben, wozu sie sich Allah gegenüber verpflichteten. Unter ihnen gibt es manche, die ihr Gelübde er füllt haben; und unter ihnen gibt es manche, die noch warten (müssen). Und sie haben keine Änderung vorgenommen;
