Surah 33 Al-Ahzaab, ayah 4 (33:4)

Ayah 33:4

مَّا جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ لِرَجُلٍ مِّن قَلْبَيْنِ فِى جَوْفِهِۦ وَمَا جَعَلَ أَزْوَٰجَكُمُ ٱلَّٰٓـِٔى تُظَٰهِرُونَ مِنْهُنَّ أُمَّهَٰتِكُمْ وَمَا جَعَلَ أَدْعِيَآءَكُمْ أَبْنَآءَكُمْ ذَٰلِكُمْ قَوْلُكُم بِأَفْوَٰهِكُمْ وَٱللَّهُ يَقُولُ ٱلْحَقَّ وَهُوَ يَهْدِى ٱلسَّبِيلَ۝٤

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilMa jaAAala Allahu lirajulin min qalbayni fee jawfihi wama jaAAala azwajakumu allaee tuthahiroona minhunna ommahatikum wama jaAAala adAAiyaakum abnaakum thalikum qawlukum biafwahikum waAllahu yaqoolu alhaqqa wahuwa yahdee alssabeela

English · Saheeh InternationalAllah has not made for a man two hearts in his interior. And He has not made your wives whom you declare unlawful your mothers. And he has not made your adopted sons your [true] sons. That is [merely] your saying by your mouths, but Allah says the truth, and He guides to the [right] way.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasAllah hat keinem Mann zwei Herzen in seinem Inneren gemacht. Und Er hat eure Gattinnen, von denen ihr euch durch den Rückenschwur trennt, nicht (wirklich) zu euren Müttern gemacht. Und Er hat eure angenommenen Söhne nicht (wirklich) zu euren Söhnen gemacht. Das sind eure Worte aus eurem (eigenen) Mund. Aber Allah sagt die Wahrheit, und Er leitet den (rechten) Weg.
