Surah 35 Faatir, ayah 22 (35:22)

Ayah 35:22

وَمَا يَسْتَوِى ٱلْأَحْيَآءُ وَلَا ٱلْأَمْوَٰتُ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُسْمِعُ مَن يَشَآءُ وَمَآ أَنتَ بِمُسْمِعٍ مَّن فِى ٱلْقُبُورِ۝٢٢

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilWama yastawee alahyao wala alamwatu inna Allaha yusmiAAu man yashao wama anta bimusmiAAin man fee alquboori

English · Saheeh InternationalAnd not equal are the living and the dead. Indeed, Allah causes to hear whom He wills, but you cannot make hear those in the graves.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasUnd nicht gleich sind auch die Lebenden und die Toten. Allah läßt hören, wen Er will. Und du vermagst nicht, diejenigen hören zu lassen, die in den Gräbern sind.
