Open Quran HifzAyah 35:39
هُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَكُمْ خَلَٰٓئِفَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَمَن كَفَرَ فَعَلَيْهِ كُفْرُهُۥ وَلَا يَزِيدُ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ كُفْرُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَّا مَقْتًا وَلَا يَزِيدُ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ كُفْرُهُمْ إِلَّا خَسَارًا
Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilHuwa allathee jaAAalakum khalaifa fee alardi faman kafara faAAalayhi kufruhu wala yazeedu alkafireena kufruhum AAinda rabbihim illa maqtan wala yazeedu alkafireena kufruhum illa khasaran
English · Saheeh InternationalIt is He who has made you successors upon the earth. And whoever disbelieves - upon him will be [the consequence of] his disbelief. And the disbelief of the disbelievers does not increase them in the sight of their Lord except in hatred; and the disbelief of the disbelievers does not increase them except in loss.
German · Bubenheim & ElyasEr ist es, Der euch zu Nachfolgern auf der Erde gemacht hat. Wer nun ungläubig ist, dessen Unglaube lastet auf ihm. Und den Ungläubigen mehrt ihr Unglaube nur noch die Abscheu bei ihrem Herrn; und den Ungläubigen mehrt ihr Unglaube nur noch den Verlust.
