Surah 4 An-Nisaa, ayah 140 (4:140)

Ayah 4:140

وَقَدْ نَزَّلَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِى ٱلْكِتَٰبِ أَنْ إِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ يُكْفَرُ بِهَا وَيُسْتَهْزَأُ بِهَا فَلَا تَقْعُدُوا۟ مَعَهُمْ حَتَّىٰ يَخُوضُوا۟ فِى حَدِيثٍ غَيْرِهِۦٓ إِنَّكُمْ إِذًا مِّثْلُهُمْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ جَامِعُ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ وَٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ فِى جَهَنَّمَ جَمِيعًا۝١٤٠

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilWaqad nazzala AAalaykum fee alkitabi an itha samiAAtum ayati Allahi yukfaru biha wayustahzao biha fala taqAAudoo maAAahum hatta yakhoodoo fee hadeethin ghayrihi innakum ithan mithluhum inna Allaha jamiAAu almunafiqeena waalkafireena fee jahannama jameeAAan

English · Saheeh InternationalAnd it has already come down to you in the Book that when you hear the verses of Allah [recited], they are denied [by them] and ridiculed; so do not sit with them until they enter into another conversation. Indeed, you would then be like them. Indeed Allah will gather the hypocrites and disbelievers in Hell all together -

German · Bubenheim & ElyasEr hat euch (doch) bereits im Buch offenbart: Wenn ihr hört, daß man Allahs Zeichen verleugnet und sich über sie lustig macht, dann sitzt nicht mit ihnen (zusammen), bis sie auf ein anderes Gespräch eingehen. Sonst seid ihr ihnen gleich. Gewiß, Allah wird die Heuchler und die Ungläubigen alle in der Hölle versammeln,
