Surah 4 An-Nisaa, ayah 142 (4:142)

Ayah 4:142

إِنَّ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ يُخَٰدِعُونَ ٱللَّهَ وَهُوَ خَٰدِعُهُمْ وَإِذَا قَامُوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ قَامُوا۟ كُسَالَىٰ يُرَآءُونَ ٱلنَّاسَ وَلَا يَذْكُرُونَ ٱللَّهَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا۝١٤٢

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilInna almunafiqeena yukhadiAAoona Allaha wahuwa khadiAAuhum waitha qamoo ila alssalati qamoo kusala yuraoona alnnasa wala yathkuroona Allaha illa qaleelan

English · Saheeh InternationalIndeed, the hypocrites [think to] deceive Allah, but He is deceiving them. And when they stand for prayer, they stand lazily, showing [themselves to] the people and not remembering Allah except a little,

German · Bubenheim & ElyasGewiß, die Heuchler möchten Allah betrügen, doch ist Er es, der sie betrügt. Und wenn sie sich zum Gebet hinstellen, stellen sie sich schwerfällig hin, wobei sie von den Menschen gesehen werden wollen, und gedenken Allahs nur wenig;
