Surah 4 An-Nisaa, ayah 47 (4:47)

Ayah 4:47

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ ءَامِنُوا۟ بِمَا نَزَّلْنَا مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا مَعَكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن نَّطْمِسَ وُجُوهًا فَنَرُدَّهَا عَلَىٰٓ أَدْبَارِهَآ أَوْ نَلْعَنَهُمْ كَمَا لَعَنَّآ أَصْحَٰبَ ٱلسَّبْتِ وَكَانَ أَمْرُ ٱللَّهِ مَفْعُولًا۝٤٧

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilYa ayyuha allatheena ootoo alkitaba aminoo bima nazzalna musaddiqan lima maAAakum min qabli an natmisa wujoohan fanaruddaha AAala adbariha aw nalAAanahum kama laAAanna ashaba alssabti wakana amru Allahi mafAAoolan

English · Saheeh InternationalO you who were given the Scripture, believe in what We have sent down [to Muhammad], confirming that which is with you, before We obliterate faces and turn them toward their backs or curse them as We cursed the sabbath-breakers. And ever is the decree of Allah accomplished.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasO ihr, denen die Schrift gegeben wurde, glaubt an das, was Wir offenbart haben, das zu bestätigen, was euch (bereits) vorliegt, bevor Wir Gesichter auslöschen und nach hinten versetzen oder sie verfluchen, wie Wir die Sabbatleute verfluchten. Allahs Anordnung wird (stets) ausgeführt.
