Surah 4 An-Nisaa, ayah 64 (4:64)

Ayah 4:64

وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا لِيُطَاعَ بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ إِذ ظَّلَمُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ جَآءُوكَ فَٱسْتَغْفَرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَٱسْتَغْفَرَ لَهُمُ ٱلرَّسُولُ لَوَجَدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ تَوَّابًا رَّحِيمًا۝٦٤

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilWama arsalna min rasoolin illa liyutaAAa biithni Allahi walaw annahum ith thalamoo anfusahum jaooka faistaghfaroo Allaha waistaghfara lahumu alrrasoolu lawajadoo Allaha tawwaban raheeman

English · Saheeh InternationalAnd We did not send any messenger except to be obeyed by permission of Allah. And if, when they wronged themselves, they had come to you, [O Muhammad], and asked forgiveness of Allah and the Messenger had asked forgiveness for them, they would have found Allah Accepting of repentance and Merciful.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasUnd Wir haben keinen Gesandten gesandt, ohne daß ihm - mit Allahs Erlaubnis gehorcht werde. Und wenn sie, wo sie sich selbst Unrecht zugefügt haben, zu dir kämen und dann Allah um Vergebung bäten, und der Gesandte für sie um Vergebung bäte, würden sie wahrlich Allah Reue-Annehmend und Barmherzig finden.
