Surah 40 Al-Ghaafir, ayah 43 (40:43)

Ayah 40:43

لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّمَا تَدْعُونَنِىٓ إِلَيْهِ لَيْسَ لَهُۥ دَعْوَةٌ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا وَلَا فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ وَأَنَّ مَرَدَّنَآ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَأَنَّ ٱلْمُسْرِفِينَ هُمْ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ۝٤٣

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilLa jarama annama tadAAoonanee ilayhi laysa lahu daAAwatun fee alddunya wala fee alakhirati waanna maraddana ila Allahi waanna almusrifeena hum ashabu alnnari

English · Saheeh InternationalAssuredly, that to which you invite me has no [response to a] supplication in this world or in the Hereafter; and indeed, our return is to Allah, and indeed, the transgressors will be companions of the Fire.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasEs ist zweifellos, daß demjenigen, zu dem ihr mich ruft, keine Anrufung zusteht, weder im Diesseits noch im Jenseits, daß unsere Rückkehr zu Allah sein wird und daß die Maßlosen Insassen des (Höllen)feuers sein werden.
