Surah 40 Al-Ghaafir, ayah 47 (40:47)

Ayah 40:47

وَإِذْ يَتَحَآجُّونَ فِى ٱلنَّارِ فَيَقُولُ ٱلضُّعَفَٰٓؤُا۟ لِلَّذِينَ ٱسْتَكْبَرُوٓا۟ إِنَّا كُنَّا لَكُمْ تَبَعًا فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّغْنُونَ عَنَّا نَصِيبًا مِّنَ ٱلنَّارِ۝٤٧

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilWaith yatahajjoona fee alnnari fayaqoolu aldduAAafao lillatheena istakbaroo inna kunna lakum tabaAAan fahal antum mughnoona AAanna naseeban mina alnnari

English · Saheeh InternationalAnd [mention] when they will argue within the Fire, and the weak will say to those who had been arrogant, "Indeed, we were [only] your followers, so will you relieve us of a share of the Fire?"

German · Bubenheim & ElyasUnd (denke daran,) wenn sie (dereinst) im (Höllen)feuer miteinander streiten, dann sagen die Schwachen zu denjenigen, die sich hochmütig verhielten: "Wir waren doch eure Gefolgsleute; könnt ihr uns nun einen Teil des (Höllen)feuers abnehmen?"
