Surah 40 Al-Ghaafir, ayah 56 (40:56)

Ayah 40:56

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يُجَٰدِلُونَ فِىٓ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ سُلْطَٰنٍ أَتَىٰهُمْ إِن فِى صُدُورِهِمْ إِلَّا كِبْرٌ مَّا هُم بِبَٰلِغِيهِ فَٱسْتَعِذْ بِٱللَّهِ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْبَصِيرُ۝٥٦

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilInna allatheena yujadiloona fee ayati Allahi bighayri sultanin atahum in fee sudoorihim illa kibrun ma hum bibaligheehi faistaAAith biAllahi innahu huwa alssameeAAu albaseeru

English · Saheeh InternationalIndeed, those who dispute concerning the signs of Allah without [any] authority having come to them - there is not within their breasts except pride, [the extent of] which they cannot reach. So seek refuge in Allah. Indeed, it is He who is the Hearing, the Seeing.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasGewiß, diejenigen, die über Allahs Zeichen streiten, ohne daß sie eine Ermächtigung erhalten hätten, haben in ihren Brüsten nur Neid (auf das), was sie nicht erreichen werden können. So suche Zuflucht bei Allah, denn Er ist der Allhörende und Allsehende.
