Surah 41 Fussilat, ayah 15 (41:15)

Ayah 41:15

فَأَمَّا عَادٌ فَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ ٱلْحَقِّ وَقَالُوا۟ مَنْ أَشَدُّ مِنَّا قُوَّةً أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَهُمْ هُوَ أَشَدُّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةً وَكَانُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا يَجْحَدُونَ۝١٥

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilFaamma AAadun faistakbaroo fee alardi bighayri alhaqqi waqaloo man ashaddu minna quwwatan awalam yaraw anna Allaha allathee khalaqahum huwa ashaddu minhum quwwatan wakanoo biayatina yajhadoona

English · Saheeh InternationalAs for 'Aad, they were arrogant upon the earth without right and said, "Who is greater than us in strength?" Did they not consider that Allah who created them was greater than them in strength? But they were rejecting Our signs.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasWas nun die 'Ad angeht, so verhielten sie sich hochmütig auf der Erde ohne Recht und sagten: "Wer hat eine stärkere Kraft als wir?" Sahen sie denn nicht, daß Allah, Der sie erschaffen hatte, eine stärkere Kraft hat als sie? Aber sie pflegten Unsere Zeichen zu verleugnen.
