Surah 42 Ash-Shura, ayah 20 (42:20)

Ayah 42:20

مَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ حَرْثَ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ نَزِدْ لَهُۥ فِى حَرْثِهِۦ وَمَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ حَرْثَ ٱلدُّنْيَا نُؤْتِهِۦ مِنْهَا وَمَا لَهُۥ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ مِن نَّصِيبٍ۝٢٠

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilMan kana yureedu hartha alakhirati nazid lahu fee harthihi waman kana yureedu hartha alddunya nutihi minha wama lahu fee alakhirati min naseebin

English · Saheeh InternationalWhoever desires the harvest of the Hereafter - We increase for him in his harvest. And whoever desires the harvest of this world - We give him thereof, but there is not for him in the Hereafter any share.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasWer immer die (Ernte) des Saatfeldes für das Jenseits haben will, dem mehren Wir noch (die Ernte) in seinem Saatfeld. Und wer die (Ernte) des Saatfeldes für das Diesseits haben will, dem lassen Wir etwas davon zukommen, für den wird es aber im Jenseits keinen Anteil geben.
