Ayah 42:49

لِّلَّهِ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَآءُ يَهَبُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ إِنَٰثًا وَيَهَبُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ ٱلذُّكُورَ۝٤٩

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilLillahi mulku alssamawati waalardi yakhluqu ma yashao yahabu liman yashao inathan wayahabu liman yashao alththukoora

English · Saheeh InternationalTo Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth; He creates what he wills. He gives to whom He wills female [children], and He gives to whom He wills males.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasAllah gehört die Herrschaft der Himmel und der Erde. Er erschafft, was Er will. Er schenkt, wem Er will, (nur) weibliche, und Er schenkt, wem Er will, (nur) männliche (Nachkommen).
