Surah 42 Ash-Shura, ayah 8 (42:8)

Ayah 42:8

وَلَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ لَجَعَلَهُمْ أُمَّةً وَٰحِدَةً وَلَٰكِن يُدْخِلُ مَن يَشَآءُ فِى رَحْمَتِهِۦ وَٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ مَا لَهُم مِّن وَلِىٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ۝٨

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilWalaw shaa Allahu lajaAAalahum ommatan wahidatan walakin yudkhilu man yashao fee rahmatihi waalththalimoona ma lahum min waliyyin wala naseerin

English · Saheeh InternationalAnd if Allah willed, He could have made them [of] one religion, but He admits whom He wills into His mercy. And the wrongdoers have not any protector or helper.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasUnd wenn Allah gewollt hätte, hätte Er sie wahrlich zu einer einzigen Gemeinschaft gemacht. Aber Er läßt, wen Er will, in Seine Barmherzigkeit eingehen. Und die Ungerechten haben weder Schutzherrn noch Helfer.
