Surah 45 Al-Jaathiya, ayah 25 (45:25)

Ayah 45:25

وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتُنَا بَيِّنَٰتٍ مَّا كَانَ حُجَّتَهُمْ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُوا۟ ٱئْتُوا۟ بِـَٔابَآئِنَآ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ۝٢٥

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilWaitha tutla AAalayhim ayatuna bayyinatin ma kana hujjatahum illa an qaloo itoo biabaina in kuntum sadiqeena

English · Saheeh InternationalAnd when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, their argument is only that they say, "Bring [back] our forefathers, if you should be truthful."

German · Bubenheim & ElyasUnd wenn ihnen Unsere Zeichen als klare Beweise verlesen werden, ist ihre Beweisgrundlage nur, daß sie sagen: "Bringt unsere Väter herbei, wenn ihr wahrhaftig seid."
