Surah 46 Al-Ahqaf, ayah 35 (46:35)

Ayah 46:35

فَٱصْبِرْ كَمَا صَبَرَ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْعَزْمِ مِنَ ٱلرُّسُلِ وَلَا تَسْتَعْجِل لَّهُمْ كَأَنَّهُمْ يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَ مَا يُوعَدُونَ لَمْ يَلْبَثُوٓا۟ إِلَّا سَاعَةً مِّن نَّهَارٍۭ بَلَٰغٌ فَهَلْ يُهْلَكُ إِلَّا ٱلْقَوْمُ ٱلْفَٰسِقُونَ۝٣٥

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilFaisbir kama sabara oloo alAAazmi mina alrrusuli wala tastaAAjil lahum kaannahum yawma yarawna ma yooAAadoona lam yalbathoo illa saAAatan min naharin balaghun fahal yuhlaku illa alqawmu alfasiqoona

English · Saheeh InternationalSo be patient, [O Muhammad], as were those of determination among the messengers and do not be impatient for them. It will be - on the Day they see that which they are promised - as though they had not remained [in the world] except an hour of a day. [This is] notification. And will [any] be destroyed except the defiantly disobedient people?

German · Bubenheim & ElyasSei nun standhaft, wie diejenigen der Gesandten, die Entschlossenheit besaßen, standhaft waren; und wünsche nichts gegen sie zu beschleunigen. Am Tag, da sie sehen, was ihnen angedroht wird, glauben sie, nur eine Stunde eines Tages verweilt zu haben. (Dies ist) eine Botschaft. Wird denn jemand vernichtet außer dem Volk der Frevler?
