Surah 46 Al-Ahqaf, ayah 8 (46:8)

Ayah 46:8

أَمْ يَقُولُونَ ٱفْتَرَىٰهُ قُلْ إِنِ ٱفْتَرَيْتُهُۥ فَلَا تَمْلِكُونَ لِى مِنَ ٱللَّهِ شَيْـًٔا هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا تُفِيضُونَ فِيهِ كَفَىٰ بِهِۦ شَهِيدًۢا بَيْنِى وَبَيْنَكُمْ وَهُوَ ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ۝٨

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilAm yaqooloona iftarahu qul ini iftaraytuhu fala tamlikoona lee mina Allahi shayan huwa aAAlamu bima tufeedoona feehi kafa bihi shaheedan baynee wabaynakum wahuwa alghafooru alrraheemu

English · Saheeh InternationalOr do they say, "He has invented it?" Say, "If I have invented it, you will not possess for me [the power of protection] from Allah at all. He is most knowing of that in which you are involved. Sufficient is He as Witness between me and you, and He is the Forgiving the Merciful."

German · Bubenheim & ElyasOder sagen sie etwa: "Er hat ihn ersonnen"? Sag: Wenn ich ihn ersonnen haben sollte, so vermögt ihr für mich nichts gegen Allah (auszurichten). Er weiß sehr wohl, worüber ihr euch (ausgiebig) auslaßt. Er genügt als Zeuge zwischen mir und euch. Und Er ist der Allvergebende und Barmherzige.
