Surah 47 Muhammad, ayah 16 (47:16)

Ayah 47:16

وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَسْتَمِعُ إِلَيْكَ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا خَرَجُوا۟ مِنْ عِندِكَ قَالُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْعِلْمَ مَاذَا قَالَ ءَانِفًا أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ طَبَعَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ وَٱتَّبَعُوٓا۟ أَهْوَآءَهُمْ۝١٦

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilWaminhum man yastamiAAu ilayka hatta itha kharajoo min AAindika qaloo lillatheena ootoo alAAilma matha qala anifan olaika allatheena tabaAAa Allahu AAala quloobihim waittabaAAoo ahwaahum

English · Saheeh InternationalAnd among them, [O Muhammad], are those who listen to you, until when they depart from you, they say to those who were given knowledge, "What has he said just now?" Those are the ones of whom Allah has sealed over their hearts and who have followed their [own] desires.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasUnd unter ihnen gibt es manche, die dir zuhören. Wenn sie aber von dir hinausgehen, sagen sie zu denjenigen, denen das Wissen gegeben worden ist: "Was hat er eben gesagt?" Das sind diejenigen, deren Herzen Allah versiegelt hat und die ihren Neigungen folgen.
