Surah 49 Al-Hujuraat, ayah 9 (49:9)

Ayah 49:9

وَإِن طَآئِفَتَانِ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ٱقْتَتَلُوا۟ فَأَصْلِحُوا۟ بَيْنَهُمَا فَإِنۢ بَغَتْ إِحْدَىٰهُمَا عَلَى ٱلْأُخْرَىٰ فَقَٰتِلُوا۟ ٱلَّتِى تَبْغِى حَتَّىٰ تَفِىٓءَ إِلَىٰٓ أَمْرِ ٱللَّهِ فَإِن فَآءَتْ فَأَصْلِحُوا۟ بَيْنَهُمَا بِٱلْعَدْلِ وَأَقْسِطُوٓا۟ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُقْسِطِينَ۝٩

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilWain taifatani mina almumineena iqtataloo faaslihoo baynahuma fain baghat ihdahuma AAala alokhra faqatiloo allatee tabghee hatta tafeea ila amri Allahi fain faat faaslihoo baynahuma bialAAadli waaqsitoo inna Allaha yuhibbu almuqsiteena

English · Saheeh InternationalAnd if two factions among the believers should fight, then make settlement between the two. But if one of them oppresses the other, then fight against the one that oppresses until it returns to the ordinance of Allah. And if it returns, then make settlement between them in justice and act justly. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasUnd wenn zwei Gruppen von den Gläubigen miteinander kämpfen, so stiftet Frieden zwischen ihnen. Wenn die eine von ihnen gegen die andere widerrechtlich vorgeht, dann kämpft gegen diejenige, die widerrechtlich vorgeht, bis sie zu Allahs Befehl zurückkehrt. Wenn sie zurückkehrt, dann stiftet Frieden zwischen ihnen nach Gerechtigkeit und handelt dabei gerecht. Allah liebt ja die Gerechten.
