Surah 5 Al-Maaida, ayah 13 (5:13)

Ayah 5:13

فَبِمَا نَقْضِهِم مِّيثَٰقَهُمْ لَعَنَّٰهُمْ وَجَعَلْنَا قُلُوبَهُمْ قَٰسِيَةً يُحَرِّفُونَ ٱلْكَلِمَ عَن مَّوَاضِعِهِۦ وَنَسُوا۟ حَظًّا مِّمَّا ذُكِّرُوا۟ بِهِۦ وَلَا تَزَالُ تَطَّلِعُ عَلَىٰ خَآئِنَةٍ مِّنْهُمْ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا مِّنْهُمْ فَٱعْفُ عَنْهُمْ وَٱصْفَحْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ۝١٣

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilFabima naqdihim meethaqahum laAAannahum wajaAAalna quloobahum qasiyatan yuharrifoona alkalima AAan mawadiAAihi wanasoo haththan mimma thukkiroo bihi wala tazalu tattaliAAu AAala khainatin minhum illa qaleelan minhum faoAAfu AAanhum waisfah inna Allaha yuhibbu almuhsineena

English · Saheeh InternationalSo for their breaking of the covenant We cursed them and made their hearts hard. They distort words from their [proper] usages and have forgotten a portion of that of which they were reminded. And you will still observe deceit among them, except a few of them. But pardon them and overlook [their misdeeds]. Indeed, Allah loves the doers of good.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasDafür, daß sie ihr Abkommen brachen, haben Wir sie verflucht und ihre Herzen hart gemacht. Sie verdrehen den Sinn der Worte, und sie haben einen Teil von dem vergessen, womit sie ermahnt worden waren. Und du wirst immer wieder Verrat von ihnen erfahren - bis auf wenige von ihnen. Aber verzeihe ihnen und übe Nachsicht. Gewiß, Allah liebt die Gutes Tuenden.
